Welcome to my page! I am very excited to be teaching first grade this year. I enjoy being able to teach and encourage young children as they develop and fine tune their reading skills.
I believe organization is a big part of success. I always try to help my students start the year off right by being prepared and organized.
Each day your child will bring home their Home Connection Folder. If you check their folder daily, you will know what we are doing on a day to day basis in class. This site is another way you can stay informed about the exciting things happening in our classroom. Parent and teacher communication is an essential part of your child's education so do not hesitate to contact me if there is a problem or a concern.
To the left you can click on different topics to find out about specific classroom activities. I will do my best to keep the information updated.
