  • 8th Grade Student-Parent Night - will take place on Thursday, February 16th, starting at 7pm in the Williams Auditorium.
  • Juniors should visit the Open House link to set up spring visits.
  • The Pennsylvania House of Representatives Scholarship is now available.  Click here for details.
  • Northern Tier Solid Waste Scholarship is open to any student who plans to major in an environment related major in  college.  For an application, come to the Guidance Office.
  • Penn College of Technology is holding an Open House on Saturday, March 24th from 9am to 3pm.  Go to www.pct.edu/openhouse to register.
  • Music Camps at Mansfield University:  There are a variety of music camps available to all ages of high school students at Mansfield this summer.  For a flier describing the various camps, come to the Guidance Office.
  • Seniors can file the FAFSA form for financial aid at any time.  Go to the Scholarship and Financial Aid link to access the website.
  • The deadline for the March SAT is Friday, February 10th.  Go to the SAT-ACT link to register.
  • The Big 33 Scholarship program deadline is February 17. Be sure to complete the on-line application early so your counselor can complete their part of your application by that deadline.
  • The deadline for the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program is February 17.  
  • Applications for PA Free Enterprise Week are now available.  You can apply by clicking here.
  • University of Pittsburgh Health Career Scholars Academy is available for sophomores and juniors interested in the medical field.  For information and applications, visit the Guidance Office.
  • Lehigh University is offering the PA School for Global Entrepreneurship a summer camp for interested sophomores or juniors.  For more information come to the Guidance Office.
  • Cargill Community Scholars program is available for any Senior who is NOT a child of a Cargill employee.  Information is available in the Guidance Office.

  • Check with the Guidance Office for other scholarship availability.
  • Students should use grade level planning links (at left) that are available to help in planning out their year.

  • Health Care Career Fair - Towanda High School - February 29th for interested 9th to 12th grade students.
  • REMINDER:  Any male 17 years, 3 months and older, can register for Selective Service.  See the Military Careers page to access Selective Service website.

    TEST TAKER REMINDERS: For any ACT or SAT test administration be sure to bring two #2 pencils and calculator and your admission ticket.  You will also need a photo identification if you take the test at another school.  You won't be admitted without it.  Students who do not have school ID, or a license, can get a photo form from the Guidance Office to submit at testing.  Be sure to arrive at the testing location 15 minutes prior to the time indicated on your admission ticket.  Cell phone use is strictly prohibited during testing.  Be sure your phone is turned off before you enter the test site.
